CFIA Compliance

On July 2, 2014, the Government of Canada repealed the pre-registration requirement for building materials, packaging materials and non-food chemicals used in food processing. Consequently, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) no longer issues letters of acceptance for gloves, aprons, sleeves, gowns and other personal protective equipment that come into direct contact with food. To learn more, please read : Guidance for Food Establishments Concerning Construction Materials and Packaging Materials and Non-Food Chemicals - Canadian Food Inspection Agency (canada.ca)

MedSec, as a manufacturer and private label, confirms that our brand products are safe, fit for use, and meet CFIA specifications for food processing. An official letter of guarantee (LOG) is available to download.
